Kangaree 2025 - Life in an Arcade!
​
Joeys from across Victoria camp out with their Leaders and parent helpers, and engage in a challenging activity program plus night-time entertainment.
​
Kangaree 2025 will be held at Bay Park Scout Camp, Hearn Rd, Mt Martha.
​
Our Joeys will be preparing for this as part of Term 2 & 3 - including practice sleepovers & building skills.

This is a night time adventure that is great fun.
​
All participants need to have at least Flatwater (old Level 1) Canoe qualifications.
​
We can help direct you to an appropriate training course, if needed.
​
Basically Scouts from across Victoria come together to paddle down the Yarra River, meet up for a BBQ on Herring Island and arrive in the heart of Melbourne CBD around midnight.
​
Drivers who don't want to paddle, but want to drive tired paddlers home are also welcome :)
